Oh man Folks! Greetings
It has been a long while, sorry to all those out there that depend on moxy, I wish you the best.
Well I'd like to start out today w/a good puzzle, this one is simple and comes to us complements of Puzzlemaster will shorts.

Think of 2 different words meaning desire
-add the same letter in front of each word to get two new words, meaning to get rid of
What words are these?

Now moving on. Well the oscars were on tonight, and from what I saw, they were nothing special. But still, I would have suggested watching, and if you have yet to see Brokeback Mountain, winner of best adapted screenplay, I highly recommend you do so immediately. Its the classy thing to do, trust me.

Oh also in the news lately, the Iraq ordeal, as usual. Sadly, things are still not going well and the Iraqi people are the ones that are going to be left with the burden of these troubles. (If I were the praying kind, I would be praying for them, but if you are, you should give your wishes to the Iraqi people most of all.)
Even the Americans are beginning to acknowledge that things aren't going as smoothly as the administration tells, apparently the latest poll, from Meet the Press 3/5/06, indicates that 74% of Americans think Iraq is heading towards civil war. This is all very troubling, however I would just like to emphasize, that my sorrows lie with the people of Iraq, unlike most of my fellow Americans. It seems that people, although equally upset by the current state of the war, are not so much troubled by the future and the losses of Iraq, but rather they have a single track mind. Seeing only the united states outlook, and how the US has nothing to gain.

It seems that this is the way too many Americans view the issue of the war, as well as many other issues facing the world and the nation today. As a society, we need to learn to look to the future, and
to think things through before rushing to decide on what will only help us. We need to consider our fellow human beings as well as all possible outcomes, and I must note that I have yet to see this from many of my conservative counterparts. Now regardless of your political ideals, I hope that you too can justify your views, in wanting (and looking for) the best for the people of this world.

With these words I will to leave you, as you head out Tuesday to your respective caucuses, and begin to decide whom you will support in the coming months. I hope you consider.

Greetings!

I would first like to begin today with a note to Morning Sedition, my favorite thing for all of time. Now, for all of you who may not know, Morning Sedition is (soon to be was) a morning radio show, on Air America, hosted by Marc Riley and comedic genius Mark Maron. The show come to a close on Friday the 16th, after a great one year run and this marvelous piece of political satire will surely not be forgotten, Cheers to Morning Sedition!!

Now, on to another subject, which you all should know about, Chemistry. So I would venture the guess that the Krebs Cycle is proly' the biggest annoyance of the chemistry realm. The entire point is to produce s0me deal, that your body needs, but the path to reach it is a load of guff and a half.

So you start with something called acetyl CoA,
and something called oxaloacetate is added to that.
Now from there, you continue on through a number of chemical reactions and processes, and finally you end up with . . . oh wait for it . . . OXALOACETATE (again!). It's really something, a major piece of work, just to form a circle. Now posted to the right is a general picture of Kreb's Cycle or the Citric Acid Cycle, for those of you who have no idea what I'm discussing. Although the cycle is not person, I feel I must use the word gadfly to refer to it.
And now as I do believe I have thoroughly vented, I will depart.

Cheers!
-Colie

Greetings!

I hope all of you out there were able to enjoy tpt on Sunday night, specifically Michael Bublé: Caught In the Act. It was an extremely profound show, tailored for all ages and backgrounds. If one happened to miss the performance, one just might be able to catch it on Thursday December 8th, at 7 pm.

Now, Mr. Bublé is a jazz singer, very class act I must say. Even though usually I am not big on the jazz, I still found it to be great quality music, which we all know is not often come by these days. So if any of you are into quality music, Michael Bublé and PBS are the way to go.

Ahh a Blog. What joy it brings one, to express their meaningless thoughts on a canvas of sorts. I must say it is an appealing deal, this blog. I think the best way to start off said blog would be in a jolly light hearted manner, and what says light hearted in a better way than a puzzle.

Here's a good one from the npr,
given 2 names of things, you must find what other name in the same category comes between the 2 alphabetically: (ex. dime and quarter, answer: penny)

1. Mars and Neptune
2. Blitzen and Cupid
3. Michigan and Superior
4. Sweden and Syria
5. Health and Human Services and Housing and Urban Development
6. Cleveland and Coolidge
7. Indigo and Red
8. Labor Day and Memorial Day
9. Denver and Dover (capital cities)
10. Bucks and Celtics
11. Bloodstone and Emerald
12. Synchronized Swimming and Tae Kwon Do

Well that is all for the day, don't forget the words of Mr.Bill Clinton,
"There is nothing wrong with America that cannot be cured by what is right with America."
